COLEEN Rooney broke her silence after Becky Vardy is ordered to pay her seven-figure sum over the Wagatha Christie row.
The former I'm A Celebrity star was told she would be forced to pick up 90 per cent of Coleen's bill.
This was after she sensationally lost the libel case and a judge ruled Rebekah must pay the wife of Wayne Rooney an eye-watering £1.4million in legal costs.
It comes after she earlier agreed to fork out almost £1.2million of Coleen's legal costs following the high-profile legal battle.
Coleen took her her account on X - formerly known as Twitter - as she released a statement.
She wrote: "The ruling yesterday in my favour finally brings this claim to an end, it’s a relief and brings closure for my family and I.
"Throughout this long process, I am grateful that the judgements have consistently gone my way.
"However, as I have always maintained, this claim did not need to be made or run for as long as it did.
"The time and money should have been put to better use."
She continued: "I want to thank my legal representatives, management, friends and family for their guidance and constant support.
"Thanks also to the public and many well-wishers who have been in touch with such kind messages.
Coleen added: "This episode is not something that I ever wanted in my life.
I've one final thing to say about Coleen - but Danny deserved to win even though I loved the Rev
"However, I am thankful for the way my family and team have dealt with it. We look forward to moving on with our lives."
This development brings an end to the highly-publicised six-year saga.
In 2019, Coleen revealed on social media Rebekah was leaking stories to the press.
The Sun previously revealed Rebekah is plotting a move to the US with husband Jamie amid continued talks for a TV role.
Rebekah had repeatedly tried to slash former I'm A Celeb star Coleen's costs, which were put at £1,833,906.89.
However, as I have always maintained, this claim did not need to be made or run for as long as it did.

In written submissions, her barrister, Juliet Wells today said that Coleen's total legal bill "has now been settled at £1,190,000" - £1,125,000 plus interest of £65.000.
But the rival wags faced one final battle after Coleen claimed for "assessment costs" of more than £300,000.
Rebekah had previously launched an appeal against the amount she must pay back - accusing Coleen's team of "serious misconduct".
Her bid was dismissed last month after Mr Justice Cavanagh found the previous judge had "ample material" to reach the original decision.
