Spilling the tea!
Bachelor Nation fans have been watching Grant Ellis look for love on Season 29 of “The Bachelor,” and getting to know the women striving after his heart.
During this week’s basketball date, Chloie, Natalie, and Beverly stopped by for an exclusive chat with BachelorNation.com, where they raved about Grant and shared why their “Bachelor” experience has been such a surprise so far.
Chloie revealed, “I feel like things happen and I’m like, ‘Okay, this is so ‘Bachelor,’ I can’t believe that I’m here.’ But then also they’ve thrown us for a couple loops.”
She noted that Grant’s sister showing up on Night 1 and the First Impression Rose equaling the first 1-on-1 date of the season were two huge surprises she was not expecting, in addition to some tension growing among the women.
“We were like, ‘What’s happening here?,’” she shared, “but it’s been fun, and everybody is just having a good time. I think now that the dates are underway, the tensions are rising a little, the stakes are getting higher. But it’s been good.”
Natalie agreed and admitted that while she knew time with Grant would be split among the other women, she wasn’t expecting it to feel so difficult.
“It’s been hard to actually live it,” she stated, “It just makes it so much more important those times that you do get with him. It’s like, make the most of it, say what you need to say, have fun if you wanna have fun or tell him something important if that’s what you feel like you wanna do because the next time you see him is not promised. And that’s a unique situation.”
Chloie chimed in and shared that getting to know Grant during those moments has also been a “pleasant surprise.”
“Not only is he tall, dark, and handsome and easy on the eyes,” she said, “but he’s just so sincere. And I feel like that makes this so much more worthwhile when you know that he’s so genuine about being here.”
Beverly agreed, revealing that she has not only felt validated by Grant during this journey but was also surprised by something he said on the first night.
“I feel like because he’s been nervous, it’s kind of cute. It shows that he’s a real human and he’s actually really into this process,” she shared, “He also mentioned on Night 1 that he’s very into the little things, like bringing home a flower every once in a while or wanting to talk about your day when you get home. Like, he wants his person to be excited about seeing him after a long day, and that’s exactly what I’m looking for, too. I always say that the little things are the ones that matter most. So, the fact that he said that, it resonated with me.”
