Celebrity Big Brother star Ella Rae Wise has confirmed she has split from her boyfriend Dan Edgar.
The TOWIE star, 24, has entered the Big Brother house single as she revealed she has called it quits with her co-star after 18 months of dating.
'We can't just be together because we have a great sex life,' the reality star said as she told The Sun of their shock break up.
'We are not together - and it's really, really sad that we're not together, we split up a week ago,' she said.
Ella insisted the split had nothing to do with her entering the CBB house - despite her just days ago reportedly promising Dan she wouldn't flirt with Love Islander and fellow housemate Chris Hughes.
She went on to say that while Dan is sweet, there was 'something missing' between them and she didn't want to waste each other's time.

She added that Dan is set in his ways, adding: 'If he's comfortable in how he is and if he thinks what he gives in a relationship is enough, that's okay because that can be enough for someone - but it's just not enough for me.'
Their shock split comes just days after she reportedly promised Dan that she won't flirt with Chris in the Big Brother house.
But despite Ella's plea, The Sun reported that producers 'may have other ideas' and could be planning to 'pair the duo up' for tasks and 'airing any intimate chats'.
A source told the publication: 'Ella and Dan have worked hard on their relationship to get to this point, having overcome several bumps in the road.
'The last thing Ella wants is for Dan to feel insecure about Chris while she's in the house with him'.
'She promised Dan that she won't flirt with Chris or lead him on. The very last thing she wants to do is embarrass Dan'.
Before adding: 'But producers are already predicting Ella and Chris will hit it off, so they may have other ideas about pairing them together in tasks and airing any inmate chats they have'.
Dan and Ella's romance first kicked off last year during a cast trip to Bali, before splitting amid rumours they had faked their romance.

However the couple have since reconciled with their relationship being documented on the ITVbe show.
According to The Sun, Celebrity Big Brother producers were keen to land Ella - who once dated Pete Wicks - as one of the latest batch of housemates.
They are hoping she might spill the beans on some of her other famous exes.
CBB kicked off on ITV on Monday night as 13 new housemates burst onto our screens.
Chesney Hawkes and JoJo Siwa were the first to head through the doors after being welcomed by hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu.
Singer Chesney, 53, was given the first task as the episode began as Big Brother told him he had to introduce himself as 'The One and Only Chesney Hawkes' to the next four entries to the house.
He is playing for points in 'Big Brother's super secret very hush hush gameshow' to win prizes for the first few days in the Big Brother house.
He stripped down in his intro video as he admitted he was a 'bit of a nudist' - and later joked he'd 'peaked to early' with the risky move.
As he entered the house he said of the upcoming experience: 'I'm 53 and I've spent 53 years with myself, so I think I know myself pretty well. But I reckon I'm going to learn stuff about myself.
'If you can reach your mid 50s and there's potential to do that, then that's really exciting. And I think I'll learn some stuff about other celebrities that I didn't know as well - so that's interesting.
'Oh and Tuesday night is the night we put the bins out so I'm looking forward to not doing that!'
