The pair's bond in the famous compound is continuing to grow and has caused confusion among some. There were odd scenes during Monday night's (April 14) episode as former Dance Moms star JoJo was trying to communicate with Chris in secret as the bedroom was plunged into darkness.
JoJo decided to sleep right next to his bed on the floor and grabbed his hand to tell him a secret. The singer queried her new pal, saying: "There's no way you're asleep!" to which a sleepy Chris responded, "What are you doing? I was asleep!"
Chris then gestured with his hand, suggesting, "You can write it out!" to which JoJo proceeded to inscribe a secret message on his palm. After she wrote it out, she told Chris: "It makes sense, just think about it."
Former Love Island star Chris could be seen grinning to himself as he lay in the bed, with fans were desperate to find out what she put, with many flocking to social media to suggest their own theories.
One said: "She spells out 'HOT' he was surprised why she was on the floor I think she was trying to tell him she’s too hot." Another asked: "Did JoJo do 143? I love you?!?!?" to which a third commented: "I heart U probably."
Another asked: "#CBBUK What did Jojo write on Chris’ hand??? 3 letters. Second letter looked like it could be an o or a lowercase e." A fifth added: ""Jojo could have noticed how Ella has been acting towards Chris and was telling him, and spelling it out so nobody would hear."
Others, meanwhile, were quick to point out that they were breaking the rules. One asked: "Wait though… isn’t Jojo writing on Chris’s hand technically a rule break as well? #CBBUK."
Another commented: "Jojo and Chris broke the rules, she was writing a message on his hand #CBBLL #CBBUK."
A third echoed: "Chris and JoJo rule break was definitely JoJo writing something on Chris’s hand !! #CBBUK."
A viewer added: "Chris and jojo just broke rule ur not allowed to talk in secret code or write messages #CBBUK."
It was later confirmed on CBB spin-off Late and Live that JoJo and Chris' actions were a rule break.
The news was also confirmed on the Big Brother social media accounts.
On X, a post read: "RULE BREAK ALERT. At 1:59 am JoJo wrote messages on Chris’ hand in secret. Big Brother has decided their punishment… They both must speak through a megaphone for all to hear until further notice #CBBUK #CBBLL."
