Cardi B just shut down rumours she's had cosmetic surgery post-birth ngocc

After welcoming her second child into the world with fellow rapper Offset, Cardi B has taken a minute to address a few rumours via her Instagram Stories, namely that she's not had cosmetic surgery post-birth.

During the series of clips (titled 'Girl Talk'), the WAP star also shared details of her labour and said she wanted to "keep it real" when it comes to her postpartum body, showing the difference that angles can make.

Dressed in all black and speaking from a bathroom in Paris, Cardi said to her 111 million followers that people have been showering "amazing compliments on [her] body" and she thinks it's because her hips changed throughout pregnancy.

"I got some amazing hips due to my gorgeous son, because he was sitting so low," she explains. "You know when your baby is low, your hips spread... But everybody's just like, 'Cardi, you so snatched. What do you do? You did lipo? You had a tummy tuck?'"

She continued, "You cannot do surgery after you give birth, especially me. I lost so much blood guys, one day I'm gonna talk to you about my crazy ass delivery, but anyways I looked snatched, especially when I take these paparazzi pictures when I'm 'like this'... but I'm really like this."

At this point, Cardi turns to the side to show her body from a different angle.

Explaining she wanted to be real with her followers, the mother-of-two added, "My skin is still loose and I still got a little pouchy pouch right here, and if I showed you my back fat... but f*ck it!"

Then, wanting to share a message that pushes back against the societal pressures many feel to 'snap back' after giving birth, Cardi stressed it's important to "take your time".

"It's really hard dealing with kids, especially when you [have] two kids," she said. "Chiiiild."

As always, we love that we can count on Cardi for keeping it honest and open online.
