Candiace Dillard Bassett Reveals Every Detail About Her Son's Nursery: "I Had a Vision" tram

After Candiace Dillard Bassett welcomed her son, Jett Maxwell Lee Bassett, with her husband, Chris Bassett, in October 2024, she created the dreamiest nursery. During a recent chat with The Daily Dish, The Real Housewives of Potomac alum shared more about the gorgeous space and how her little one is doing.

"Oh my gosh, I am obsessed with our nursery," Candiace began during our interview. "I had a vision for what I wanted it to look like before I even knew we were getting pregnant. I knew what room we were going to use. I knew I wanted to put wallpaper on one wall, where the crib was gonna go, where the changing table [would be], I knew all of that. So as I'm pregnant and growing and I'm like, 'OK, this is really happening.' And I had a really amazing partnership with Bellini, the baby nursery brand."

The new mom went on to reveal that the brand sent her "an entire nursery," which matched her wallpaper of choice and other elements of the nursery. "The only thing that I don't have yet that I really want is a rug. I still need a rug to go in the middle of the floor," she said.

Candiace continued about the beautiful space, "I love his nursery, and he loves his room. He'll lie in his crib, and he'll stare at the wallpaper. It's very Alice in Wonderland. Lots of foliage and trees. And I'm a neutral girl. They call moms that don't do color, they call us sad beige moms. But I'm a very proud, sad beige mom. I just don't see the need to do 15,000 colors. It doesn't go with the scheme in my home. You need to fit into my life, child."

The nursery, as you can see in the video below, features a stunning mural of a pastoral landscape, serving as a serene backdrop for the space. With beige walls, a cream-colored carpet, and an ornate gold mirror above the changing table, the room exudes elegance. A cozy reading nook with a beige armchair adds warmth, while a sign displaying the baby's name hangs opposite the crib.

The crib itself is the standout piece, and Candiace expressed her gratitude to Bellini's Paris Collection for creating “the ultimate blend of timeless elegance and modern functionality.”

Further in her caption, Candiace detailed the features of the crib, including "under-drawer storage" in addition to a chic design. Also, she noted the crib "grows with your baby," transitioning "from a crib to a toddler bed, daybed, and even a sofa!"
