Candiace Dillard Bassett Gives a Full Tour of Her Baby's Nursery: "Irrationally Obsessed" tram

"Nursery dreams made real!" Candiace captioned a January 6 Instagram video, which showed off the jaw-dropping nursery in her and Chris' massive abode. "I was probably irrationally obsessed with creating a nursery that feels like a serene sanctuary—beautiful, functional, and perfect for both me and my baby to grow and thrive."

Upon entering the space, we were immediately struck by the gorgeous mural of a pastoral landscape lining the back wall. Set against a cream-colored carpet, the space also features beige walls, an ornate gold mirror over the changing table area, a beige armchair and reading nook, and a sign of the baby's name hung on the opposite wall to the crib.

The crib, of course, is the main focal point of the room, and Candiace thanked Bellini's Paris Collection for the design showcasing "the ultimate blend of timeless elegance and modern functionality."

Further in her caption, Candiace revealed the features of the crib, including "under-drawer storage" in addition to a chic design. Also, she noted the crib "grows with your baby," transitioning "from a crib to a toddler bed, daybed, and even a sofa!"

Moreover, Candiace showed off the unique detail of the matching "seven-drawer dresser with rustic finishes and recessed brass pulls."

Candiace Dillard Bassett reflects on motherhood

In addition to designing the perfect nursery, Candiace has been thriving in so many other ways as she navigates motherhood.

"It's not real yet, and I can't get anything done because I will just hold him all day and all night and just stare at him, just in awe of like, 'Where did you come from? How are you here?'" she shared during a December 2024 appearance on Fox 5's Motivation with Melissa. "It's so strange in the greatest way."

Candiace Dillard Bassett explains why she's not showing her baby's face

Though Candiace is happy to show off all the incredible details of her baby's room, she isn't exactly privy to showing Jett's face on camera.

"It just feels so special to have him all to ourselves, but in the same vein, I know [there are] so many people that rooted for us and prayed for us and are excited for us and are excited at the prospect of us having a child, that I knew I wanted to share with the world that he's here...but I'm also aware of how interesting the world can be, and how scary the world can be," she explained during the same appearance. "And I just want to keep him safe for as long as I can. And protect him for as long as I can."

She noted, however, that she does plan on revealing his face when she's ready. "Of course, eventually, we will see him," she said. "You will see him soon."
