Britney Spears briefly supported her sister Jamie Lynn Spears’ run on “Dancing With the Stars” before deciding to delete the Instagram post.

The “Toxic” singer shared a photo of the “Zoey 101” alum on her account Sunday and wrote, “I’m so proud of my sister! She did so good on Dancing with the Stars!”

Britney’s sudden surge of pride over Jamie Lynn’s performance — despite being eliminated from the ABC competition series during its second episode — may be due to their fragile reconciliation after their fallout over the “Sweet Magnolias” actress’ memoir.

“They are speaking,” a source close to Britney recently told Page Six.

In October, Jamie Lynn and her pro partner, Alan Bersten, received a combined score of 16/30 from judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for their final cha cha to “Shake Senora” by Pitbull, T-Pain and Sean Paul.

Co-competitor Tyson Beckford told Page Six after Jamie Lynn’s surprising elimination that he was disappointed by the votes.

“It was kinda sad to see Jamie Lynn leave because we bonded and I worked with her sister,” said the model, who starred in Britney’s’ “Toxic” music video in 2004.

“I wanted to do something with her as well because she’s fun people. Hopefully we’ll do something later on the acting side.”

Beckford described the “Zoey 102” star, 32, as “straight funny,” adding that she had the cast “rolling” just by “being herself” with her “Southern twang.”

“We’re going to miss her,” he added.

Following her elimination, Jamie Lynn appeared on UK reality show “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!” before quitting 10 days later because of medical issues; however, a source at ITV told us that she was wary of being asked about her family.

“Her appearance was quite tightly managed,” said the insider.

When fellow contestant and former champion jockey Frankie Dettori asked Jamie Lynn, “Is it true you don’t get on with [Britney] now?” she simply replied, “I love my sister.”

Back in February, Jamie Lynn bawled her eyes out as she quit Fox’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” after just two days, saying that she missed her daughters, Maddie, 15, and Ivey, 5.
