Brian took to Instagram last night to share some nostalgic throwback snaps as he celebrated 23 years since appearing on the show.

The dad-of-two posted re-posted an adorable picture of himself looking super baby-faced before entering the Big Brother house.

The 46-year-old had a cheeky smile on his face and wore his hair spiked up with gel.

He also wore a cute mustard coloured t-shirt which had Copenhagen written across the chest.

Over the picture, an emotional fan wrote: "23 years ago Brian Dowling won Big Brother and as a young guy man, it changed my life.

"Such a moment. So iconic. I always remember being 14 years old and being so inspired by him.

"He was just a regular boy on TV, but showed it was OK to be yourself. The rest is history @bprdowling."

Brian also shared a brilliant clip of the moment he found out he had won the show back in 2001.

The video showed a young Brian pacing around the Big Brother house as presenter Davina McCall said: "This is Davina, Brian guess what? You are the winner of Big Brother 2001."

Brian immediately put his hands up in the air with excitement and threw his head back to hide his tears.

The reality star then ran out of the Big Brother house and jumped into the arms of his fellow contestants.

In floods of tears Brian exclaimed: "Don't even ask me how I feel. I'm very shocked."

The Irish host was just 23-year-old when he first appeared on the show and has since gone on to become a successful radio host and television presenter.

The 46-year-old is now married to celebrity judge Arthur Gourounlian and the pair share two kids together, Blake, 1 and newborn, Blu.

The Dublin star recently shared a family snap revealing the "reality of life" after welcoming baby Blu into the world.

DAD DUTIES
Brian's sister Aoife stepped in to act as a surrogate for himself and Arthur for a second time after they welcomed daughter Blake in September 2022.

She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl last month that Arthur and Brian named Blu Amar Rose Dowling.

The presenter took to his Instagram today to share a family snap revealing the "reality of life at present".

In the picture, Arthur and Brian can be seen holding Blake and Blu in their arms as they stood at the front door of their house.

Arthur was sporting a black tracksuit and a black tee as he smiled while Blake rested her head on his shoulder.

Meanwhile, Brian looked slightly tired as he held Blu in his arms.

The 46-year-old was wearing a pair of colourful trousers, a grey t-shirt and cardigan and a pair of fluffy slippers.

Captioning his post, Brian explained: "The reality of life at present. Where we @gourounlian are GO GO GO & I look slightly POSESSED.

"Most days, I don’t know what to wear or what I’m even wearing & honestly, I don’t really care. At the moment, slippers with socks are my go-to look."
