Would you want to see Blue Ivy on Dancing With the Stars? Because honestly, I would! It's something I didn't know I needed until it was brought up. There's one pro who really wants it to happen, and we hope that ABC will get on board as well.
Speaking with Queerty, the newest DWTS pro dancer Ezra Sosa, who first joined the competition series last season in season 33, told the outlet that his "dream partner would be Blue Ivy." Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter is definitely making a name for herself already at just 13 years old. Here's what Sosa had to say about wanting to take to the dance floor with the multi-talent:
"She’s an incredible rising star with a strong work ethic and so much drive behind her. You can see that she’s carving out her own spotlight, and I think Dancing With The Stars would be the perfect platform to let that shine even brighter."
Blue Ivy seems a bit young to join the competition series. Not that she can't handle it. Though she is still just a young teen. I guess actress Willow Shields came on back in season 20 when she was only 14 years old, however. So it could work. I think that's a great idea and now I'd love it if the network can make it happen!
Although this young celeb is professionally focusing on singing and acting, she's proved many times that she can definitely dance as well when taking the stage alongside her ultra-famous mother! This girl has got moves, and she needs to bring them on over to the DWTS stage, please. I feel like if someone as big as Blue Ivy came on, she and Sosa would easily take home the Mirrorball trophy.
I don't know what took Dancing With the Stars so long, but Sosa is the first Latin pro dancer to join the reality competition series in more than 10 years. That's just crazy to me given that many of the numbers are Latin-centric. I'm glad to see him as part of the cast!
Also according to Queerty, he's been confirmed to return in DWTS season 34, which airs on ABC in fall 2025. The show hasn't confirmed any of the cast yet, even the celebs except Robert Irwin and Alix Earle. Surprisingly, the pros - or at least most of them it seems - don't find out whether they're competing in a new season until a few days before its announced to us viewers on Good Morning America.
Though with season 33 being Sosa's first season, and him being eliminated first with partner Anna Delvey, I think he definitely deserves to come back. He didn't get a chance to compete for very long. The pro dancer also shared he'd be open to being the first pro paired with another man to make for another same-sex dancing couple on DWTS.
Dancing With the Stars season 34 premieres in fall 2025 on ABC.
