A Big Brother fan account on X shared a portion of the conversation on the social media platform.

"Have you guys ever thought that there could be a decoy person in here that isn't really part of the show but is just planted here to be a player but they're not really in it for – they're getting paid separately?" Asked Angela, sitting up from her seat with an excited look on her face.

Rubina Bernabe, who was part of the group Angela was talking to, appeared shocked at the idea.

"It's not possible," she stated sternly.

Angela assured her, "Oh, it's possible."

Elsewhere in the conversation, Rubina said, "I don't know how you can be in this house and be a decoy. I feel like if you're in this house, you're playing."

"Not if you're getting a separate thing," Angela replied.

T'Kor Clottey joked, "I very well could be," before adding that the show would have to pay her significantly more.

The cast then went on speculating about which cast members, past and present, might be decoys, noting connections between certain players.

Fans on X appeared equally shocked, though some had considered the possibility before.

'ARE YOU SERIOUS?'
"LMAO ARE YOU SERIOUS I LITERALLY JUST FINISHED MY CONSPIRACY VIDEO ABOUT ANGELA BEING A PLANT AND SHE DROPS THIS BOMBSHELL COMMENT?????" questioned one viewer.

"So now she wants them to think she's a decoy," penned a second fan.

"I thought that about Angela from day one with all her staged outbursts," a third pointed out.

A fourth commenter wrote, "I actually said this week 1. Angela been giving saboteur this whole time."

"Angela just confirmed to us that she is a plant," asserted a fifth.

Angela isn't the only one fans believe could be a fake player, however.

"I've been feeling this way about Tucker low key," speculated another viewer.

"Also I've never seen a mic drop down for a outburst like the one she had for the stairs incident with Matt. That gave me monologue vibes about her...just saying. If you've got nothing to lose type behavior from her and Tucker."

Someone else pointed out, "Joseph has to be the decoy, because 'video store cler' in 2024?! Shenanigans."

NOT A PLANT
While some fans think having decoy cast members would be an exciting twist, production shut down the theory earlier this season.

On August 13, Deadline released an interview with executive producer Rich Meehan, who addressed speculation that Angela is a plant.

"She's been so fun to watch, so unexpected. With all those things, I don't necessarily blame people for wondering, because it's been surprising and shocking along the way," he said.

"But it is always funny, the conspiracy theories that are out there."

Another Big Brother executive producer, Allison Grodner, echoed that sentiment.

She joked that it was a "good idea," but isn't the reality of Season 26.

Speculation about Angela's role on the show began in July, shortly after the season began, as fans dug up old clips of her on other CBS programs, including The Price is Right and Dr. Phil.

"There are a ton of shows, but I don't think because she was on The Price is Right and a Dr. Phil episode makes her necessarily an actor," Allison said.

Angela has been stirring controversy on Big Brother since the Season 26 premiere, earning the title of villain in a hurry.

She's gained a loyal band of followers who have enjoyed her old-school style of gameplay.

DONE WATCHING
Big Brother has faced major controversy this season, with fans split between loving watching Angela compete and others demanding she get the boot for "bullying."

Recently, she was pitted against frontrunner Tucker Des Lauriers in an elimination vote.

Tucker wasn't able to avoid getting sent home, as his co-stars rallied against him, seizing an opportunity to eliminate their stiffest competition.

Following his exit, many fans claimed they were done watching Big Brother.

"This is probably one of the most emotional and intense bb evictions ever omg," one person penned in a post on X.

"I don’t think I’m gonna be able to handle Rubina crying over Tucker on feeds," noted a second.

"So many people swore they would stop watching if Tucker leaves," complained a third, adding a GIF that featured text that read, "Let's see what happens."

"Well there goes the fun and energy with Tucker. Rubina for HOH," bashed a fourth viewer.
