Big Brother's Segun Shodipo has clarified his relationship with Hanah Haji, amid flirting rumours between the pair.
The Big Brother house has seen fast friendships this year, as cliques began to form early on in the series. However, some housemates have become closer than others, which hasn't gone unnoticed by their peers.
In tonight's (November 10) episode, Segun complimented Hanah's appearance, before getting down on one knee and jokily professing his love. Their close bond raised some eyebrows and Segun was later questioned by Ali and Thomas.
"I don't have many female friends. Hanah is probably one of the first female friends I actually have in my life," Segun told them. "But your relationship looks very flirty," pointed out Ali.
Segun vehemently denied the claim, but Thomas suggested it was a "60/40" split, with Hanah flirting slightly more. "No, that's weird guys. I don't like that," replied Segun.
Ali added: "I don't want it to make you feel awkward. It doesn't look like there's something going on. Because Hanah was the same with Khaled. Just more like a flirty dynamic."
Segun brushed off the suggestion, saying that it was more of a sibling relationship than a romantic one, and Ali agreed that Hanah would "laugh about it".
After approaching other housemates to gauge their opinions, Segun was unimpressed to hear that they agreed with Ali and Thomas' observations. In the Diary Room, he claimed he didn't reciprocate any flirting.
Meanwhile, Nathan, Thomas and Baked Potato grilled Hanah about her feelings towards Segun. Hanah also denied a romantic connection, but was it enough to convince the others?
Big Brother airs on ITV2 and ITVX from Sundays through Fridays, followed each night by Big Brother: Late & Live.
