Becca Tilley Says “Yes”! Bachelor Star Engaged to Hayley Kiyoko After 7 Years of Love tram

The Bachelor’s Becca Tilley and singer Hayley Kiyoko are officially engaged.

“My dream girl said yes to forever…” Kiyoko, 34, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, July 10, with photos from the proposal.

The singer popped the big question by the ocean with a new piece of bling from Ring Concierge. Tilley, 36, was visibly crying after Kiyoko got down on one knee before sunset. 

The couple met in April 2018 when Tilley, 34, attended a party celebrating Kiyoko, 31, and her debut album, Expectations.

“I think it was just an instant connection,” Tilley explained to Entertainment Tonight in December 2019. “I’ve never had something so instant, like, from the beginning.”

 
The Bachelor alum confirmed in September 2019 that she had been seeing someone, but she wanted to keep the person’s identity private for the time being.

“I just think that my own relationship that I’m in is just, I like that it’s private and it’s my own,” Tilley told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “I had a public relationship before and it just felt like I had a lot of people involved, which I know that’s why they sort of watched me in the first place. I’m really happy and I hope to eventually start opening up about it more, but I’m happy with it being private right now.

During an episode of her iHeartRadio podcast “Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley and Ranya Rad” in February 2020, Tilley said she was “95 percent” sure she would marry her current partner.

The chiropractic assistant finally revealed her relationship with the Lemonade Mouth star in May 2022 after appearing in the Bachelor-inspired music video for her song “For The Girls.” The duo also shared a sweet moment at the single’s release party.

“3rd time’s a charm🌹,” Tilley shared via Twitter at the time, joking about her two seasons on the ABC dating series. “So so happy 🥰.”

That same day, the former reality star posted footage of herself and the “Girls Like Girls” singer via Instagram with the caption: “Hard to say if this is a hard or soft launch, but it is a launch ❤️#95p.”

Tilley has been very open about her feelings for Kiyoko after confirming the relationship.

“There’s so many things I love about Hayley – and we’re so different,” the podcast host told Us in July 2022. “I’ve always thought I wanted someone who, you know, was like me and I think sometimes, in some regards, that makes it easier, but in the time that we’ve been together, I’ve learned how much I love our differences. Because the things where I don’t consider myself necessarily strong in, she excels in.”

Tilley, who was on The Bachelor in season 19 (2015) and season 20 (2016), dated Bachelor Nation star Robert Graham until they called it quits in May 2017. Kyoko, for her part, has been linked to Scooby-Doo! co-star Nick Palatas and singer Kehlani.
