Stars from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing have shared a "sad" update with fans, after having to make changes to their show. Professional dancers Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola were set to take to the road this summer in a brand new stage show, called Red Hot and Ready.
Joining them would be Pasquale La Rocca, who is a dancer and choreographer who also appears on the US version of Strictly - Dancing with the Stars. However, sharing an update with fans, the dancing duo said that due to "unforeseen circumstances", there had been a change of plan. Posting to their official Instagram account, they shared a joint statement which read: "Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen illness, Pasquale has had to withdraw from our tour.
"We’re extremely sad at this news as Pasquale was a valued member of our company. We want to wish him all the love, health and best wishes for a quick recovery and hopefully we’ll see him back on the ‘Red Hot & Ready’ stage in the future."
In the comments of the post, Dianne and Vito both wished their friend well. Dianne commented: "[Loveheart] you @pasqualelarocca get better soon my love x," while Vito shared: "Friend @pasqualelarocca."
Fans joined the Strictly stars in sending their thoughts to Pasquale. "So so sad @pasqualelarocca is such an asset to any production but health comes first. Sending love and healing," one wrote.
Another added: "Gutted. But health comes first. We will miss you @pasqualelarocca get well soon x". A third penned: "Oh no! Such sad news. I was really looking forward to seeing him dance. Wishing you a speedy recovery Pasquale. xx"
