Pete Wicks has issued an apology to his dance partner Jowita Przystal as he was seen busting some moves months after his time Strictly Come Dancing came to an end.

The reality star and podcast and radio host took part in the 2024 run of the BBC One dance contest, where he was paired with former winner Jowita.

Fans of the hit dance show watched the pair make it all the way to the semi-final of the hit dance show last year, before they missed out on a place in the final.

They departed the hit dance show during wek 12 after landing in the dance-off for the first time in the penultimate week of the competition alongside eventual finalists Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec.

But Pete and Jowita weren't apart for too long as the following week they returned to the Strictly ballroom for the final of the 20th-anniversary series.

Viewers saw the class of 2024 returned for one last colourful and joyous group number, in which they were able to recreate some of their highlights from the previous 12 weeks.

Despite their success in the competition, there was a blow for fans as it was confirmed that Pete wouldn't be part of the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, with Jowita joining her co-stars as part of the ensemble line-up.

But away from dancing, Pete and Jowita have remained firm pals and are often quick to show each other support publicly. However, Jowita had some questions when she saw Pete dancing.

The star was seen replicating a scene from The Inbetweeners move alongside best pal Sam Thompson. The pair had James Buckley, who played iJay Cartwright in the E4 sitcom and subsequent film, on their podcast, Staying Relevant.

A caption alongside the clip on Instagram read: "Pete’s strictly moves coming in handy. Watch the James Buckley episode over on our YouTube now #stayingrelevant #samandpete #podcast #Jamesbuckley #inbetweeners."

Rochelle Humes was among the first to respond, sharing a string of crying laughing emojis in the comments section. Pete, meanwhile, simply said: "I’m sorry @jowitaprzystal."

But she saw the funny side as she recalled one of their performances from Strictly 2024 as she said: "Channeling George with those bare feet."

She also shared the video to her own Instagram Story and said: "Don't remember teaching you those moves... @p_wicks01."
