The 44-year-old singer was one of the original members of 90s girl group, Atomic Kitten, who first found fame in 1999 after releasing their first record.

Atomic Kitten officially disbanded in 2004 to pursue individual projects. Liz herself had a solo career which saw her have a successful first single.

The singer announced her pregnancy last month in an Instagram video that showed off her bump as she detailed her journey with IVF.

She suffered two miscarriages and multiple rounds of IVF before finding out she was pregnant with her husband Peter's baby. The couple met on a dating app and decided to start the treatment due to their age.

They had three failed embryo cycles, but tried again after their wedding in 2023. It wasn't until the new year that they received the good news.

Now five months pregnant, Liz appeared on Loose Women to share her experience. During Wednesday's (11th June) instalment, she shared: "It's been really, really tough and it's really strange because I speak about it, but hearing you talk about it just then, it was like in the third person completely separate to me, it made me upset."

She continued: "I didn't want it to define me, because I was so obsessed with my own journey, and even when I'd have conversations with my friends that's all I could talk about, and I knew I was being that person... I just didn't want to be a burden all the time... I just wanted to tell them all the news and we finally had good news to tell."

Reflecting on how she thought she'd only originally need one round of treatment, Liz admitted it was "the biggest shock" finding out that it had failed.

During the second round, Liz recalled: "The second time, I was like, maybe this time. You do have so much hope every single time, and I hated myself a little bit for having the hope."

Liz then shared how she found out she was pregnant through her latest round of IVF, as she said: "In my clinic, it was wait for 11 days to take a test. I didn't wait 11 days, I decided I was gonna test a bit early because, to be honest, I was bleeding.

"I wanted to know a yes or no... I took a test without him (Peter) and I was just so scared again, because I've only just had a miscarriage.

"So, I took a test and I looked at it and it was blank. I just uncontrollably started crying. I turned around to wash my hands and then there was a faint line... Everything was amazing, I mean I was still super scared but it's just a good thing."

Liz exclusively shared with the panel of Loose Women that they're expecting a baby boy as she admitted: "I'm still very scared, but I'm so excited."
