Looking back.
Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Luyendyk fell in love and got engaged on Season 22 of “The Bachelor.”
The two later tied the knot in 2019 at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family, including fellow Bachelor Nation stars Sean and Catherine Lowe.
Since then, Arie and Lauren have welcomed three children: Alessi and twins Senna and Lux.
Now, their wedding photographer Matias Ezcurra is looking back and sharing the magical story behind their engagement photo shoot in Maui.
Alongside the beautiful photos, Matias wrote, “We arrived for this session with Arie + Lauren to find the lighting and weather less than ideal, but they mentioned how amazing it would be if a rainbow made an appearance. And like magic, Maui delivered!”
He explained further about how the photo shoot played out.
Matias shared, “Every spot we moved to, the light shifted perfectly —like the island knew exactly what we needed. Their connection was effortless, and it was such a joy to capture these moments just days before their wedding.”
He then pointed out an amazing moment in the background of one of the photos. 
“That blowhole in the background? Just another reminder of the beauty + magic that happens here,” the photographer wrote. “Thank you for having me capture all the seasons of your love + family!”
Arie commented on the post reflecting on what a beautiful day that was for him and Lauren. He said, “The most epic day!”
