The Watch What Happens Live host spoke to The Daily Dish in December 2024, where he teased what's to come from his new space. "The new apartment is a little more sophisticated," he explained. "It's about the next phase of my life, which I think, is a little more sophisticated."
Like his West Village duplex, Andy's new home has two levels. But, "the layout is really more conducive" and makes more sense for his family. And it also has an outdoor space, which he is really looking forward to. "The outdoor space was really huge," he explained. "I mean, the outdoor space was the tipping point cause I'm living in my dream apartment."

However, saying goodbye to his current home will be just a little bittersweet. Andy continues to share peeks inside his beloved home that shows just how lived in it the place it. In one photo, Andy's minibar can be seen backlit next to a portrait of Dolly Parton hung near an eclectic sitting area in the home. In the other photo, Andy's kids can be seen leaning against his gingham sectional watching a movie.
"I feel like all I do is watch Encanto," he wrote over the photo.

But since Ben is older, it has more of an impact. "This is the only apartment he's known for six years, this is his home, and it's my home," Andy said. "I asked him the other night, I said, 'Are you excited?' He said 'Yeah.' I said, 'Are you more sad than excited?' He said 'I'm more excited but I'm pretty sad.'"
