Andy Cohen finally gives his unfiltered thoughts on the latest season of The Real Housewives of New York City and the show's controversial new castmember, Rebecca Minkoff.
As Parade reported, Minkoff made history as the first Real Housewife with ties to the Church of Scientology, having been raised in both Scientology and the Jewish faith. Recent episodes of RHONY saw her castmates dig into Minkoff's polarizing connection, but Minkoff cryptically dodged the questions, not saying much at all.

Cohen gave a little bit more insight.
"I can’t really judge people’s reactions to Scientology, but I’ll say that she’s a well-known New Yorker, and she is fun to have in the mix," the housewives host and executive producer told Variety over the weekend while in London at Hayu FanFest, a reality TV-focused event from NBCUniversal's international streaming platform.

When asked to what extent Scientology factors into the rest of Season 15, Cohen explained that Minkoff's faith is, "something that recurs in the show," but that "it doesn’t look like she came on the show to preach about Scientology. So we’ll see how that develops."
Cohen also opened up about newbie Raquel Chevremont, who he says is "just absolutely blowing" his mind. "She’s got some really good personal stories coming up as well. But she’s so aspirational and fashionable, and I’m so happy to have someone who is such a vibrant part of the art community on the show, which I think is a place we’ve always wanted to go."
Speaking of the cast overall this season, Cohen explained, "I feel like the group seems more cohesive, and they’ve been hanging out a lot for the past few years, so this is kind of a unit."
