Andy Cohen Says This Ex-Cast Member Can Always Return to 'Real Housewives' ngocc

Dr. Nicole Martin may be stepping back from The Real Housewives of Miami this season, but Andy Cohen has made it known that the door will always be open for her.

Last week, Dr. Nicole Martin announced her departure from the upcoming seventh season of RHOM. After much speculation from fan accounts, Martin spoke with People about her departure, citing postpartum anxiety as the main reason for her exit.

Speaking about her struggles since giving birth to her daughter Genevieve earlier this year, she told the outlet, "I just don’t think that I am in the headspace to film a full season of reality TV. I love a lot of the girls that I film with, but we’ve got some strong characters and there can be a lot of tense drama, not to mention the long hours. It’s a lot to juggle and I'm shifting my priorities."

Martin also shared the news on her official Instagram account, which received an outpouring of love from many in the Bravo universe, including the Bravo boss himself, and executive producer of The Real Housewives Andy Cohen

Cohen commented on the post, "We have been lucky to have you and will be again if (and hopefully when) you feel the time is right!" This, of course, is not the first time Cohen has taken to social media to praise one of the Real Housewives, but it is certainly a rarity to hear him confidently leave the door open in this way.

Martin responded, thanking Cohen for "all the support over the years."

Dr. Nicole Martin was a breakout star in the 2021 reboot of The Real Housewives of Miami. The beloved series returned after an 8-year hiatus, with a cast of OGs like Larsa PippenAdriana de Moura and Marysol Patton, alongside newbies like Martin, Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova.

Throughout her time on the show Martin let viewers into her professional life as an anesthesiologist, her personal life and relationships as a daughter, mother and wife and was at odds with multiple castmates, specifically Pippen, Alexia Nepola and Patton.

Here's to hoping she'll be back on RHOM in the future.
