Andy Cohen “always” wants Kyle Richards to be a part of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I mean, I always hope she’ll stay,” Andy, 56, told Us Weekly exclusively while attending the NYC Ballet Fall Fashion Gala at Lincoln Center on Wednesday, October 9. The TV host went on to explain why fans love to watch Kyle on the show.
“I think she lets people in. I think she translates the world of Beverly Hills to the viewer and has for a long time,” he said. “She’s been aspirational and relatable, yet her life is totally glamorous.
Andy hadn’t previously heard about Kyle, 55, being named the Us Weekly Reality Star of the Year — but seemed on board with the choice.
The Bravo boss told Us that Kyle’s “glamorous” life is “something we want to watch,” which is what keeps RHOBH viewers coming back for more.
“We laugh with her, and we cry with her, and we look at her as a mom and a sister and a friend,” he added. “We can identify with her in all those roles.”
