Andy Cohen has always been a fan of Lisa Vanderpump but that doesn’t mean The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG star will be returning to the franchise.
“It was repeated all over the place that I’m trying to get Lisa Vanderpump back on The [Real] Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Cohen, 56, revealed during the Tuesday, January 21, episode of his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen Live.
Cohen, who is an executive producer on RHOBH, denied he started the rumors and insisted that Vanderpump, 64, has better things to do than pick up her diamond again.
Let me restate my abject love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from,” he told listeners. “I don’t see her coming back to that show.”
cohost John Hill agreed with his assessment, adding, “I don’t know why that would even be a rumor. She doesn’t need to go back.”
Hill explained that the Los Angeles-based series doesn’t “need” Vanderpump back. “She’s got her own thing going on,” he concluded.
Cohen hinted that the current cast wouldn’t exactly mesh with Vanderpump. “She and Dorit [Kemsley] and Kyle [Richards] are, you know, I guess she’s kind of friends with Garcelle [Beauvais],” he said, trailing off.
