Andy Cohen Hits Back at Follower Claiming Celebrity Presidential Endorsements Are ‘A Flex’ ngocc

Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens LiveThe beautiful thing about the United States of America is that everyone has a voice when it’s time to head to the ballot box. Whether you’re the host of Watch What Happens Live, a self-proclaimed billionaire, or just a random person in Florida with internet access, your vote matters. Unfortunately, not everyone understands that, so Andy Cohen had to issue a not-so-friendly reminder.

After the 2024 election results rolled in, a troll tried to admonish Andy about celebrity political endorsements. Unfortunately for that person, Andy had the time today to clap back.As the world reacted to the news of the United States presidential election, Andy shared an emotional video of himself on Instagram, where he spoke to his toddlers about the state of the country.

“God Bless America! ??,” Andy wrote. “We love our country…We will persist.”

In the 2024 elections, Andy proudly endorsed Kamala Harris, just like a handful of Bravolebrities. Andy also joined Missouri senate candidate Lucas Kunce on the campaign trail in an effort to oust incumbent Josh Hawley.

Neither of those races went in favor of Andy’s candidates, so a random commenter decided to drop in with an unwanted admonishment.

“I’m impressed with this post Andy, it’s gracious and I’m glad we agree we all love our country. But the celebs all endorsing her was not the flex you think it was,” the person wrote.

Although Andy is juggling two kids, a radio show, a talk show, and a handful of Real Housewives franchises, he found the time to clap back at the troll. All of a sudden, Andy turned into a middle school government teacher.

“This is America,” Andy wrote. “If celebs want to express themselves they should be allowed to like everyone else.”

He continued, “Standing up for what you believe in is not a flex, it is AMERICAN.”

Of course, the troll proceeded to try to go back and forth with Andy, but there was no way to recover from that clapback. When he’s right, he’s right.
