“My WWHL team rose to every challenge of the pandemic, and getting to do WWHL for two more years is the ultimate reward," host and executive producer Andy Cohen said in a statement about the Emmy-nominated series being renewed. "We’re still having a ball making our show — whether our guests are virtual or in studio!”
Fans have been delighted by WWHL over the years thanks to wild and unforgettable moments featuring candid and headline-making interviews, fun and revealing games, and cocktails with Bravolebs and celebs. Over the years, all sorts of famous faces have stopped by the Clubhouse and spilled the tea with Andy, interacting with fans as well.
In 2016, Andy opened up to The Daily Dish about his enduring love for hosting the series. "I will keep doing Watch What Happens Live for as long as I can. I mean there are times when I'm tired or I'm over it, but mainly I'm very into it," Andy told The Daily Dish at that time. "I absolutely love it. I think I have the greatest job in TV. I get to be myself. I get to have fun. I mean, it's great."
And we have yet another reason to send out all the mazels to Andy. It was recently announced by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that Andy would receive his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
