Lindsay Hubbard is a Summer House OG who has really transformed throughout the several seasons she has appeared on the show. We’ve seen HubbHouse go through high highs and low lows. These days, she’s pregnant and seemingly happier than ever with a not-so-mystery boyfriend by her side. And it apparently is making it easier for her friends to be happy for her too.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, the resident mom and dad of Summer House, are two of those friends. Despite some rocky bumps in their friendship in the past, the three stars are seemingly closer than ever these days. Apparently so close, that Amanda could see an alternate future for her husband and Linds.
Amanda Batula’s wacky ideas about Lindsay Hubbard and Kyle Cooke
Kyle and Amanda spoke to Us Weekly about how “protective” they are of Lindsay since she’s become a mom-to-be. “At her baby shower, I kept on being like, ‘Oh my God, I’m having a kid,’” Kyle said. A baby with a mullet would be pretty adorable.
Amanda said that Kyle and Lindsay were so close at the baby shower that, if you didn’t know any better, you would’ve thought that Kyle was the father of her baby. “In another universe, I swear they’d be together,” Amanda joked. Can you even imagine that universe? The dynamic of the Summer House would be flipped upside down.
Kyle, however, disagreed with Amanda’s assessment. “Oh, I don’t know. It’d be like fire on fire,” he said. There’s no doubt about that. Kyle and Lindsay are two massive personalities who tend to butt heads. In actuality, it’s probably not the best romantic match, despite Amanda’s evaluation.
