Bachelor Nation fans got to know Allyshia Gupta as she looked for love on Season 29 of “The Bachelor.”
She’s currently giving love another shot on the beaches of “Bachelor in Paradise” Season 10, and has formed a connection with Sean McLaughlin.
However, she also started forming a brief connection with Dale Moss before deciding to couple up with Sean.
Now, Allyshia is admitting on a new episode of “Bachelor Happy Hour” that she thinks she would’ve coupled up with Dale instead if she had arrived earlier to “Paradise.”

Discussing why she stopped pursuing Dale, she said, “I feel like it was always going to be that way just because of the timing of when I came in. After that Rose Ceremony, that was when it was announced, Jesse announced that it’s no longer a dating show. It’s now going to be a competition show, and the couple that wins is going to be the couple that gets through these tests and relationship challenges. And basically the best couple together at this point.”
She went on, saying, “So in my head, I’m like, 1. That completely gets rid of the whole dating around part of the show, which I was deprived of because of the time I came in…And at this point, it’s lucrative for all of us in couples to spend our time and focus on getting to know the person we’re with. Especially me because I just got there and everybody else has ten days advantage knowing these people.”
Allyshia then shared that if the competition aspect hadn’t been added, she would’ve continued to pursue Dale.

“I would’ve continued to pursue Dale and get to know him more,” she admitted, “because of the way the show turned into a competition at that point, I don’t think it was ever going to progress because both Dale and I were kind of [separated]. Everybody held onto their partners. It was a very different experience than I thought it would be.”
Allyshia also revealed that had the timing been different, she thinks her and Dale would’ve coupled up rather than him and Kat Izzo.
“I do think that had I come in day one, or day two like earlier days, I do think that Dale and I probably would’ve ended up being coupled up. I think we did have a lot more in common than him and Kat did, in some ways.”
