All Stars’ Tom Clare wades in on Love Island bullying row as he explains ‘reason’ star is clashing with Jos ngocc

LOVE Island All Stars winner Tom Clare has waded in on the Love Island bullying row surrounding Josh Oyinsan, Mimii Ngulube and Joey Essex.

The 24-year-old, who won the spin-off series earlier this year with girlfriend Molly Smith, has explained the 'real reason’ he thinks that the former Towie star has clashed with the pair.

In recent episodes, Joey and Josh didn't see eye to eye after he told the villa about Mimii's 'secret mission' during the game of Snog, Marry, Pie.

Joey and Sean have also been very vocal about how they think that Mimii still has feelings for Ayo, despite her being with Josh.

That led on to 253 people complaining about Joey and Sean's behaviour, but Tom has given the 'real reason' why they have been clashing.

When asked if he thought Joey is stirring the pot, Tom exclusively told The Sun: "No, I don't think so.

"I think I think he wears his heart honestly, even, I think obviously sometimes he his opinion can maybe be taken in the wrong way.

"But I think he does speak the truth."

The reality star, who is eBay’s Pre-loved Ambassador, thinks that Joey is honest and his opinion can be 'taken the wrong way'.

Tom continued: "I actually really like him.

"I think he's come across really well, but yeah, like, I said, there's gonna be times in there where people don't agree with each other.

"There's been times, I know I watched it last night, Joey apologised to Josh, but bringing that all thing up again.

"So yeah, I just think everyone's got their own opinion, and in the villa everyone is always going to have opinions.

"But no, I think he's handled himself very well.

"He's definitely made me laugh along the way. What a character."

When asked himself if he thinks that Mimii and Ayo still have feelings for each other, Tom hinted that he thinks that there could be.

Tom said: "I think I seen a clip the other day, I think you know when the parents had been in.

"I think Ayo meant to say Jess's family, but he said Mimii's family.

"I don't know. I think who knows if when the if did have a conversation on that terrace...

"It could have gone a completely different way.

"But they've both been happy in the couples now.

"So yeah, I don't know. I think once you get out the villa, that's when you see the real relationship.

"I think obviously in in there like watching it as a as a viewer, now they both seem really happy in the couple.

"Everyone seems to be getting on so, yeah, but I think the real test is when you come out. That's the real test."

Mimii and Ayo coupled up together on day one and appeared to be going from strength to strength.

But when Casa Amor arrived, Jessica Spencer arrived and threw a spanner in the works and the model decided to recouple with Jessica, leaving Mimii single.

However that wasn't for long because then Josh arrived and swept her off her feet.

A few weeks ago Mimii asked Joey to tell Ayo to meet her on the terrace to clear the air.

Joey then brought it up during the game, but wouldn't tell the rest of the Islanders what this 'secret mission' he had brought up, was about.

He continued to make comments about Mimii and Josh in other challenges, including the talent show, when Joey chanted the words "secret mission".

Then during A Couple Of Sorts challenge, Joey and Sean questioned Mimii and Josh's relationship.

After a frosty few weeks, Joey finally squashed their beef last night, after Sean apologised for his comments during the challenge show.

Tom said of Joey and Sean together: "I do like them to like. I think there's times where they probably need to just realise that other people are getting annoyed at what they say and stuff like that, but I really don't think they mean it in a malicious way, and I think it should have been that when Sean was upset about it also.

"But no, I actually really like, yeah, I think Sean was obviously a little bit quiet, but he seems to really come out of shell.

"He's saying how he feels. And I've got a lot of time for people who say how they feel.

"Maybe sometimes it's right, sometimes it's wrong.

"But if you can realise when you're in the wrong and own it like which Sean seems to have done. And yeah, I've got a lot of time for people like that."

Tom shot to fame on the ninth series of Love Island in 2023.

After failing to find love, he took part in the All Stars version this year and fell for girlfriend Molly.

Ahead of the final this Monday, Tom will be hosting the first-ever Love Island eBay Live with TikTok star Coco Sarel.
