Alexia Nepola Reveals the Shocking Way Todd "Blindsided" Her With Divorce tram

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 premiere kicked off by revisiting Alexia Nepola and Todd Nepola's wedding yacht party, before swiftly diving into the murky waters of what really happened when the latter unexpectedly filed for divorce in April 2024 after two years of marriage.

Cameras captured Alexia's raw emotion in the immediate aftermath of her split, as she tearfully shared her version of events with Marysol Patton and Julia Lemigova. As Alexia told the story, everything was status quo when she and Todd had an "amazing" romantic date night on a Friday evening in early April. By the very next day, however, everything had changed.

"I got home [and] everything was missing," Alexia revealed. "He had moved him and his daughter out."

The Alexia + Frankie's Beauty Bar owner claimed that, unbeknownst to her, Todd "apparently had gotten keys to an apartment" a month earlier and had been "taking things" from their home, right down to the shampoo from the bathtub.

"So, I'm, like, freaking out," she recalled. "Everything's gone."

That's when her 28-year-old son, Frankie Rosello informed her that "Todd’s gone," as he had been present when her estranged husband vacated their South Florida home.

"He had it all planned," Alexia alleged, realizing there had been signs, such as Todd rushing her to leave that morning. "He moved out of my house, of our house, with Frankie there."

Despite the covert exit, Alexia and Todd continued to speak over the next several days, she said, even discussing the possibility of couple's therapy. Then, another shocker arrived: "Thursday, I get the phone call from my attorney telling me, 'Your husband filed for divorce.'"

Two days later, the waterworks continued to flow as Alexia sat down with the RHOM cast to spill even more divorce details.

When the women — including Marysol, Julia, Larsa Pippen, Lisa Hochstein, Guerdy Abraira, Adriana De Moura, and Kiki Barth — questioned whether she and Todd had ever discussed divorce prior to his legal filing, Alexia responded, "No, never. There was no fight. There was no nothing. That's why it’s so painful and, like, I feel, like, so betrayed ... I was blindsided."

Larsa, for her part, asked Alexia if she thought they could "work things out," to which she replied, “I wish that I could, you know, take all this back and I can fix it and could live with him happily ever after. That's all I wanted."

Inside Alexia Nepola and Todd Nepola's reconciliation

Fast-forward five months, and Alexia and Todd were back together.

Over drinks, a disapproving Marysol called out that she learned of their reconciliation "in the press," along with the rest of the ladies.

Alexia explained that she had "been kind of hesitant to tell anybody," but also insisted that she was "not embarrassed" or "ashamed" because she was still "in love with Todd."

In a confessional, she elaborated, "I mean, it's hard not to give Todd another chance. And it's hard not to see Todd or talk to Todd when I'm in love with him. I just feel like Todd and I are not finished."

When Lisa joined them, Alexia added more context to their reunion timeline, sharing, "He filed for divorce thinking that he was just going to close that chapter of our lives; he was never gonna talk to me again. Two or three weeks later, he realizes, 'I can't do this.' Like, 'I Alexia Nepola looking at Marysol Patton in The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7, Episode 1.
Later, Alexia informed Larsa that she was "not single," and though she and Todd were working on their relationship, she was still "very upset" by the way in which he left her: "He's a coward. I mean, I'm not gonna take away from that."

One topic she and Todd had yet to discuss, however, was the divorce itself.

"I'm afraid to talk to Todd about the divorce," the Ay Por Favor podcast co-host admitted in a producer interview. "I'm just afraid that it's gonna start another fight. So, we're both, like, tiptoeing and walking on eggshells and just having, like, a nice time and being lovey-dovey and not really talking about what we have to talk about, which is the divorce."

Are Alexia and Todd Nepola divorced now?

Just less than one year after beginning the proceedings, Alexia and Todd finalized their divorce in March 2025. However, they are still together as an unmarried couple.

"After thoughtful reflection, Todd and I have reached an amicable divorce settlement. While our marriage has legally ended, our relationship has not," Alexia explained in a statement to People, at the time. "We continue to love and support each other as we navigate this next chapter. We appreciate the understanding, love, and support from our family, friends, and fans."
